Here's another review of an app for music educators found on the iPad and Technology in Music blog. I read a post by Paul Shimmons dated September 7, 2015 about the app called Capo Touch which is a tool designed for both iPhone and iPad, and is used for creating and experiementing with music. Features include automatic chord detection, slow your music down (includes a high quality sound stretching engine, and is helpful while practicing solos), looping regions, beat detection, transposition cabability, capo and alternative tunings, a 10-band graphic equalizer with voice reduction capability, and iCloud sync between devices. The app costs $7.99 is said to be both faster and more user-friendly than DAW. The link to Paul Shimmons' post is below:

The iTunes Preview review of Capo Touch is also referenced in Mr. Shimmons' post:

Capo Touch will prove helpful in my choir classroom, in that I will have a private practice room where students can rehearse for singing competitions such as Allstate, and record their rehearsals. Through the use of Capo Touch, they can slow the tempo of the music down to a comfortable speed for learning.
