SUMMARY
I am the Director of Music Ministries at Faith United Methodist Church in Smyrna, GA, conducting the choir, praise singers, children's choir and directing the worship committee. Currently I am a candidate for a Bachelor of Music in Music Education with a concentration in Choral Conducting, with an expected graduation date of Spring 2016. My previous educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Communications from Kennesaw State University (graduated May 1998), and an ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate in Business Transactions (graduated November 2000). Additionally, I graduated from the Residential Interiors Certificate Program through The Art Institute of Atlanta in June of 2005.
Previously I served in the music ministries at Hillside United Methodist church in Woodstock, GA. I was actively serving on a bi-weekly basis as a contemporary praise singer and was a soprano choir member
in the Chancel and Chamber choirs. Hobbies and passions include spending time with my 9-year old son and husband, home decorating, and playing the recorder and piano. My professional business background encompasses eight (8) years of in-house Paralegal experience supporting corporate attorneys and managing commercial real estate lease portfolios. Professional strengths include contract analysis, drafting leases and amendments, proofreading, editing, policies and procedures.
